A few of them are from my own vinyl collection. Most pictures I used was snagged from Discogs. There is over 500 pictures in the video, including album covers and pictures of all the bands. Small facts (Artist, Song, Album,Year, Country) will appear at the beginning and end of each song, just like MTV did it back in the days. I love all the bands I just mention but this video will focus on the ones most people missed out on. Even bands like Pentagram and Budgie was axed from this list because I thought they was too "famous". The ones that lurked in the shadows of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. So this all about the lesser known bands from the 70s.
This video could easily been 20 hours+, there's no shortages of great rock music from the 70s. Just to narrow it down to "only" 5 hours was really hard to do. I don't know how many hours I've spent on this little rock mix. You'll find a Tracklist, Timestamps and links to each artist in the first comment below.ĭamn, this was difficult.
